New Stuff From SRAM, I likes it

The new Rival Group is out and making big waves in the Cycling industry. The kit is coming in at just a few grams over 2190! The Value is there and the mechanics of their double tap system works flawless. The have adopted all the characteristics of the Red big brother.

We tried out the Sram Rival kit on the New Look 566. The shifting was a crisp, firm, pop of perfection. This new update has integrated the brake level adjustment form the Red and Force group so it was suitable for all of our testers male and female.

The Shifters are ergonomically designed to fit the bodies natural resting points. This makes longer rides quite nice. The relaxed arm position allows the elbows and wrist to stay in a much more natural position and makes breathing more efficient.

The Brake set is well constructed and easy to adjust. Quick braking and firm stopping power make this set friendly for all riders. Myself, being 220lbs. had no trouble bringing the bike to a halt. The looks are very nice and close to the force set, we suspect they may even be trickle down technology and may replace the older force brake sets without compromise.

The Cassette is a work of art and with Sram’s own special tooth design, where the teeth are cut out to help shifting is a winner in every way.

What else can we say, if you have not ridden Sram Components now is the time to switch. The Price is right and the quality is unmatched. Shimano fans may have a little to get used to with the unique “Double-Tap” System. We assure you after two rides you will master the intuitive shifting and lightweight performance of the Sram Rival Group.

For around a thousand dollars you can put a Rival group on your dream bike.
